Re: Looks like I am doing a fuel pump next, have a few questions

Sorry you have to replace everything, but you know it'll be good for years to come.

Well the good thing is when its all done. Your good to go with out any worries. Better to do this right the first time around, then having to go back in and do it again and again. Good Luck. Let us know how things turn out.

Re: Looks like I am doing a fuel pump next, have a few questions

OK, I cant seem to find anything about this.

at the parts store they have 2 different senders.
FG03A Here
FG03D Here

The only difference is the "harness code"?
one is sft, set or sey
other is sep

The only letters on mine are P.E.D.

???????dunno which to get, neither do they

The one that I used on my 94 , was a Dorman Part# 629-004. Hanger, & sending unit. What you mite do is to take your old assembly down to the part shop, and have them match it up.

Re: Looks like I am doing a fuel pump next, have a few questions

ok. back on the road again!
finally got time to put it all together today, works great now!
she started right up, i let it pressurize a few times before i cranked.
let it run for almost 30 minutes cause the battery was almost dead from trying to get it started when it died. then i drove about 10 miles and everything was awesome.
BTW, i used the spectra FG03A sending unit http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...PartType=C0025, with the sep harness code and it worked great. the ground for the float was a little different than oem but its all good
used WIX fuel filter and the delphi pump. all that together was still cheaper than if i bought the sender+pump combo they had, and it was airtex crap.
the guy at the store wanted me to get airtex, he said it was the exact same thing as the delphi so i made him bring both out to prove him wrong.

thanks guys
