2003 Grand Am wont start when its cold outside
I have a 2003 Grand Am with the 2.2 L. When it is cold outside the car will not start. After warming up in the sun the car starts right up and runs fine. Any idea what would be causing this

Re: 2003 Grand Am wont start when its cold outside
How old are the plugs ?
It also could be a vacum leak right off the intake.

Re: 2003 Grand Am wont start when its cold outside
check your coolant level,
also you can try disconnecting your ect sensor and measure the resistance the ect is reading in the morning, then measure the water temperature. I will find specs for you and then you can compare it. Also did you gap sparkplugs? Also clean throttle body and iac passages Temp / ohms 32 9420 41 7260 50 5670 59 4450 68 3520 77 2796 86 2238 Last edited by 3100; 09-04-2009 at 02:08 PM. |
