Question Tarmac Tires for Tamiya Mitsubishi EVO 6 WRC

The Tamiya Evo VI WRC came with Gravel tires and rims but it also came with Tarmac rims but no tires. Where can I find the Tarmac tires for those rims? I tried HLJ and MediaMix and also GrandPrixModels non of them has it.

I had the same problem as you with this model, I also wanted the tarmac version, but I had to do the gravel one, but now I've unasembled it, and I'm gona buy some rims with tyres at hlj and I'll do a road version of it, also of a 1999 subaru wrc that I also did years ago, and now... I can do them much better. So... I think that its imposible to get the tyres without the rims so... you'll have to buynew rims, if you like the ones that come with the lancer use them buy the cheapest 17rims on hlj (I think that are 17" the tarmac rims, anyone knows it? ) but you also must know that if you use the tyres of an aftermarket rim set, the tyres will have street look, not race or rally look.

I went ahead and called Tamiya in USA and I end up ordering the tyres from Evo V WRC for close to $3,00 us plus 4.00 shipping.

Is a good solution too but... like I've lost the stock ones... I'll have to buy new ones, but like I'm gonna do a street version... I dont care.

These tyres may fit the rims you have.
