1/12 Mclaren MP4/6 Re Release

Hi,

Having recently bought a 1/12 Mclaren MP4/6 (The 2007 re-release in a blck box) i have noticed that the kit does not include the "goodyear" decals for the tyre walls or the front wing. I'm guessing as there is an empty space on the decal sheet that the goodyear logos were not included in the re-release??

Does anyone know if there are aftermarket goodyear decals available for this kit??

Not sure about the wing decal but the missing tyre decals are good excuse to buy a Goodyear photoetch masking stencil. I've got a set but can't remember who makes them of the top of my head (Acustion or Studio 27 IIRC).

There was a set from Tabu Design that included the tyre logo's and the logo's for the front wing end plates. Sadly I think it was discontinued.....?

I have the PP detail sets and S27 High Tech Decals, but I have no kit!..D'Oh!

There is a template made by Yoshida Designs - I got mine in the last couple of years, and it's dated 1992, think they're still available (I think I bought mine at Stradasports). Can't help with the wing decals, though.

which is no longer available from mediamixhobby but appears to still be available at stradasport. Just look for sku 12030 under tabu decal. Both kit and decals can also be found on ebay.
