Re: Nissan skyline DRIFT Machine...

Well guys while working on the model i came into a big road block......the suspention on the model is way off rear suspention doesn have one....front suspention is all wrong...so im going to have to use some spare parts from other kits chop it up and make due.....i was thinking of making my own suspention but it wouldnt look right so i'm just going to use some spare parts ........from a old kit and a broken kit just to make it at least look ok

Re: Nissan skyline DRIFT Machine...

The kit you are building is likely not a GT-R, but a GTS-T with a GT-R body. It still has the RB motor but it's only a 2.5 single turbo and it's only rear wheel drive. The kit you have is not far from the real deal, but aoshima has a tendency to generalize their chassis and make the bodies look good...for the most part. I suggest building this one as a nice shelf model and getting a Tamiya or Fujimi enthusiast if you want a full detail kit with decent accuracy.

In fact, if you are building a drift car, the Tamiya GR.A R32 is already set up with full cage, gutted interior, race suspension and all the stuff you would normally see on a drift car anyway.
