With the California, I have one new model this year that I'm excited about and will build (albeit in my imagination, as it seems the kits are stacking up in the closet)
I was seriously hoping I'd like it better in person, sadly that didn't happen. Therefore no Revell kit for me. My last vision of the California was in a showroom facing a 16M. I'm sure the 16M is double the cost of a California, but it's 10,000 times more desirable to me. I'll let the real market for the California decide whether it's worthy or not. I'm sure the performance is great. I disliked the 360, 599, 612 in photos, but "got it" when seen in person. This one, no. There's an awful lot of similar threads on Fchat both berating and praising the car. I hope that buyers aren't treated to the horrific resale value that I predict this car will have once the badge snobs are ready for their next toy.

Re: New Tamiya Kit!

You know the whole "370z not coming with an engine" is an easy fix. All you need is one part 370z and one part GT-R35, gently stir, and.......

Ooooh. A 480hp Z - wonder how getting that power to the ground would work in rwd. Better not let Nissan's Team GT-R hear about that - to hear some magazines tell it, they may come grenade your model, their rivalry with the Fairlady/Z team is so intense...

Yeah, I'm gettin' the Revell Californias too - though I really don't think I'd forgive that styling from anyone except Maranello.

Hmeh. Surely there's a MILF or two among them pentagenarian house brokers...

I wanna see California tag "MLS MLF" on someone's model

MLF149 or 430MLF would be good code names too
