The "Z" is the speed rating. That is the highest it goes. It means it can handle 150MPH+ speeds.

Re: 2004 srt4 with a problem...HELP!

it all depends on what your willing to spend. if your looking for a great all around tire (long life, good stick, good ride, etc) my tire of choice is the sumitomo HTRZ2 tires. they are relativley inexpensive (ok about as cheap as they come! i sell them for $125/tire in the 225/40zr18 size!), and they outstick nearly every tire in their class. i am running them in a 235/40/18 (was going to go with 245, but was worried about rubbing on the auto-x track with agressive camber), and love them! they stick like glue. the tread pattern is agressive, and they work in the wet as well as in the dry. overall, im inlove with these! and that is my recomendation!

sweetheart, you need to register over at http://www.performancesport.net. that is a much easier place to get ahold of me. as one of its founder/creators i spend most of my time and energy keeping that site up and going.

infact, if any of you want to check out a great site, hit us up! we have a lot of fun. i want/need more tech advice, and just more members. check us out, and look for my own tech articles!

Re: 2004 srt4 with a problem...HELP!

aftermarket BOV's for the srt are expensive! you have to buy a block off plate for the factory surgevalve, a repalcement up-pipe (between intercooler and throttle body) with flange, then the BOV itself. i like the GReddy, or the HKS personally

nope, its sole purpose is to allow you to bolt on a BOV. in theroy, a hard pipe will prevent flexing/stretching of the factory rubber line. but in all honesty, the rubber doesnt expand too much, so there wont be any real gains.

Unhappy Re: 2004 srt4 with a problem...HELP!

not new to this site just new to posting you guys have given me a lot of help on here just reading your answers.....but this my last problem i had the 04 srt4 for a year now, and since the second month ive been through all kinds of parts....my car has not stopped bogging, almost stalling but not actually stalling, and loss of boost was spiking at 21 and holding tightly through out around 19 til redline ran great.....since then i have had it in the performance shop in milford CT well known PRUVEN PERFORMANCE and well not so good anymore, they first looked at it last year said it was the tps wiring....so they FIXED not replaced it they said and all i see there is they put a little bit of black rubbery glue on the wires on the back of the plug to basically keep them from sliding out of the plug as i touched one th is morning and it slides right now anyways......so im guessing that is my main problem, its throwing misfire codes since day one, and when they fixed it that first time 3 weeks later it happened again and i went back to them and they said the sensor is fine its the plugs which were just changed about 2000 miles before and they looked brand new and i checked the gaps they were all even and perfect gap.....iriduim plugs ngk.....so after that they said the loss of boost is a coupler, sound familair or right at all? i dont think so but they changed them and it ran fine for a week before back to the same shitty condition but they alos said my wastegate actuator is bad, i have an AGP in there and it is rusted enough tht you cant adjust it at all so they ordered that part 7 months ago!!!! supposedly never came in but i took it upon myself to order a new one since its simple to install.......that should come in monday or tuesday, along with some new wires from msd, i just installed the following, msd coil , new cold air intake full....., new weapon rcoolant reserve can cause the stock one melted from the turbo heat and motor etc it was bound to happen with the sheilds gone, i bought the car used with 56000 miles so, replaced that and also new hoses along with a 185 degree thermostat, manual boost controller, stage 1 pcm....its ok 04 its the got injectors.....walboro 255 lph pump.....mopar blow off valve....blue aluminum catch can....mopar exhaust.....injen down pipe.....cat delete......theres more but off the top of my head thats the main ones, not including black powdercoated stock rims....mopar 3d taillights....glow shift voltage gauge along with a system sub amps caps and components but that plays no part in the running of the car lol so anyways now for the problem it still bogs like to stall but doesnt along with maybe 9 lbs of boost and i dont drive it hard at all due to prob break something else with my luck but thats all i get before it sputters....the day that happened the wastegate didnt make anymore noise or release anyair out cause i had no blow off valve at first but sounded like i had one and i guess the wastegate releases the air making a similair noise but not as loud but thats gone too the same time so im guessing the wastegate failure could cause this, i took it out and its loose as can be and bounces around does that sound normal for an AGP wastegate actuator? anyways other than that everything i put in fixed most of the problems along the way except the bogging and loss of boost which honestly defeats the whole purpose of me buying this car in the first place lol ....anyways car was dynoed at the shop and came to have 294 horse dont remember the torque and the slip is in the car so dont feel like going back outside its windy and freezing and was out there today messing with the tps and it was making a huge difference back and forth moving the wires so just for reassurance i bought the tps replacement wiring kit for it should be here in a few days this week so did i make the right move or anything else i can test out or try? you guys helped me build this thing so far everything i did i got the info from here so your the experts haha let me know any help is appreciated and even easier if you could email me or Im me at saturn82783@ yahoo or also Im me at saturn82783 @ aim either or...thanks Justin.....
