explain headers to newbie
:bandit: I'm new and have a 2000 accord ex v6 and don't exactly understand the purpose of headers and how they improve the cars power. I'm sure i'll have no shortage of explanations so please be gentle. I do have a phsyics degree so give me a little credit, I just don't know what the phunk a header is for and why i should put on comptechs headers.

They are less resrictive and allow more exhaust to flow freely also if you get ceramic they dissapate heat better, but to feel their real potential performance its best to upgrade your whole exhaust system.
Nothing like having a big mouth and a lil asshole, or vice versa...
