in a three year old thread, being your second post on AF at all, I'm sure noone really cares.
Please stop bringing up old threads, as I'm sure by now we've all figured out what we needed to know about these swaps.. they're old news. Tell me something about the R18 motor... in a new thread.

Sooo.....rebuild of B series engine using stronger head components, aftermarket cam, and stronger block. Whether it is CRV block with VTEC head, or straight VTEC block with VTEC head, or maybe even ditch VTEC for permanent high performance cams......either way rebuilding an engine the race way is best for avoiding premature failure and having best performance.
But this thread i see is deciding if it is economical for a CRVtec. I think it is, if you have a B20 running long time in your civic, and you are itching for more power. Only if you possess enough knowhow and mechanical ability. Then if you know someone who will sell you a VTEC head for cheap, why not. |
