lol, i dont get that sig, but yeah, i think the layout work, but only in a very large community, in a small community such as the camaro forum, i like it when everything was combined, all id like to see is a classified section, and then a camaro discussion section, off topic can go in discussion, it worked for quite some time, and i dont see why it wouldnt work now. AF's issues with searc etc... isnt helping the situation either....

Well it's pretty obvious that it's been killed and getting it back is going to take almost a Herculean effort. This place was good for general knowledge and having a good time. The focus on the "FAMILY ATMOSPHERE" really chopped its' legs off and whoever keeps pissing off the mod's etc put a bullet in it's head. Fixing the search function is critical to the recreation of the membership of this section of the forum... without it there is absolutely no chance it'll ever regain it's former popularity.

Igor is actually working on getting a new version of vBulletin up soon. Hopefully that will help fix the search problem. If not, then he needs to find a new host. Because I completely agree, without the search function, this place will continue to slowly die. We're currently testing out the new version and making sure there are no bugs that need fixing.

I'm also working on trying to contact Dave (twspirits) to see when we can get the layout back to normal. Still waiting to hear from him. We're definitely working on getting this place back to normal for everyone, just give it some time.

Well, the whole entire site dropped off in activity, so it's not just limited to here in the f-body section.

That combined with a couple of ban-happy folks lurking around, well 'nough said.

DEFINITE quick-fix to activity drop off... random, site-generated boob pic next to each post, smut sub-forum and to keep it clean... one forum devoted to vids of idiots cracking up their cars.
