In fact the ONLY Tamiya paint I have is some acrylic clear, and I didn't like it at all. Most of the supplies I use are testors aside from the putty and glue.

Oh, one more thing, these models all received 1st place trophies in several shows. The truck has a shelf all of it's own with all of the trophies and plaques it accrued. Sorry, I'm not boasting, just trying to show a fella that inexpensive paint is not necessarily worthless.

Set the spray can in hot water for a 10 minutes, remove the can and dry it with a towel...then shake till your arms want to fall off. Many times those cans have set on a shelf for years, it's going to take more than 20 seconds of shaking to mix it all up good.
