Re: So, It's Been A While

Yeah as MZR said it roughly anywhere from 3-5k depending on where you get parts. ~400whp give or take depending on tune and boost levels. If I were to convert, whcih I still am not sure if I am or not in a few years, I would go with stock compression Diamond forged pistons and a gt35 turbo...probably see around 450whp on pump gas

Re: So, It's Been A While

See that is the thing for me, I would like a car with 500ish awhp but to be honest it would not be the best DD. I know a guy here who goes to the same university as I who has his VR4 at 475awhp and very soon to be 520-550awhp and he drives it quite often but the DD in it has kind of left. He runs on pump gas (soon to be E85) but still, it's just not practical. I was thinking of just getting like some 19T's or maybe even 15G TDO4 turbos which would still be good for 500+hp and usable for daily driving.

Not to mention, this power is all going to the wrong wheels. I drive a front driver so I can be a little critical on this. To have anything pushing past 300whp on a front driver becomes more of a burden than anything else if you are using it as a dd.

Re: So, It's Been A While

^^Yeah, I would assume so. That is one thing I have always wanted was a TT SL but even on a stock VR4 motor setup, they have a LOT of difficulty hooking up. Which is one of the reasons I bought a VR4 also.

Re: So, It's Been A While

I might just say screw it and buy an STi and mod that sucker, but I need to sort out my money situation for college first. I would turn the boost WAY down for DD, but still, it would suck. But if I keep the balt, I will be buying a sport bike for me DD.

Re: So, It's Been A While

We still love him?

And FWD is perfect for me, but soon I will need to get AWD to make up for my pathetic launching abilities.

Re: So, It's Been A While

Last I remember Redneck had the Nova and the 240Z with the skyline motor. Still got any of those cars?

Re: So, It's Been A While

He has a G8 GT now and I think he still has the nova

Some say that his voice can only be heard by cats, and that he has two sets of knees... all we know is, he's called the Stig.
