Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

Well, here's an even better find - a short video of chassis #031 being driven through the paddock at the LeMans Classic 2007 event.

There's also an old school Kenwood commercial in the Related Videos listing.

Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

I guess it has been a while since I have gone scavenging in Japan. I'm finding a bunch of cool stuff tonight.

Just found a short trailer for a DVD released by CarGraphic that I would love to get my hands on. The first few seconds show an early shot of XP5 and then a short run of the Aubergine chassis #016 at speed. When it cuts to the overhead of the F40 at :07 seconds into the video, that's it for F1 content, but it's still worth watching the rest.

Also love their spelling of McLaren as noted in the image filename above.

Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

In my travels I came across these six very nice photos of chassis #053. I assume these were taken while it was still in Japan based on where I found them. They were embeded in a blank page off of this website, but unfortunately there were no additional details other than this quote at the top relating to the price in Yen.

"Made to 10 years and is now the price is up more than 100 million"

Enjoy!

Thanks mate!

Awesome colour, the best original one I've seen on a standard F1 so far...

Could be the one seen at Bngo Sports recently with that 'odd' boxy thing near the toolroll / CD player

Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

Except that the one at Bingo is still up on their website and they are normally pretty efficient about updating such things.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this was #063 or #064 however.

Most likely #013 at Bingo Sports - photographed recently

Makes me wonder which silver F1 belongs to the ZAZ collection since recently...?

Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

#013 has gone full circle? Bingo Sports > Carrs of Exeter > Auto Salon > Bingo Sports?

Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

More BingoSports beauty shots.

They appear to be sticking with their story that this is chassis #013 based on the ad copy. I'll believe it when I see the chassis plate again.
