Re: Post Pics of your Ride and selves. Pt. 2

I drove a drop top J at the auto auction on weds, and honestly I don't know if its a vert thing or not... but I don't like all the body flex when I was hitting bumps. I have driven 3 verts all they have had all the same symptoms. I thought i could see the whole front window wiggle when i hit a bump. Don't think I would feel too safe in one of those as I do my hard tops.

Re: Post Pics of your Ride and selves. Pt. 2

Cody is right, no solid roof there for support, so the car has more flex to it

Re: Post Pics of your Ride and selves. Pt. 2

Yes, but did you ever take a look at all the re-enforcing there is on the drop tops? Sure its going to flex a bit more, but honestly I haven't noticed much of a difference from my drop top to my coupe except on cornering. I notice the difference in weight much more comparing a convertible LD9 to a Coupe L61.
