In my old 89 Civic Sedan I took out the stock seats and put in the CRX seats. I took the seat rails off the crx seats, and drilled new holes in my stock Civic seat rails, did some cutting with the stock rails and they worked. Its a bit more complacted then I made it sound. Took me a few hours to do it. But like I said it worked. And I was very happy.

Pretty much any Honda bucket seat will fit... I haven't found anything that wouldn't yet.
I've actually had eclipse seats, mazda seats, civic seats, prelude seats, accord seats, even NSX rip-offs in civics... they all fit fine... Corvette seats fit the car nicely, and round out the interior well, I think... but they're expensive.

Oh, and the way those seats are mounted is getting changed... I'm actually going to put some racing seats in, once I decide to get them reupholstered... and sell the CRX seats, but until then, I've already re-run the harness under the headrest, and removed the DSM console...
BTW... anyone want a DSM armrest/glovebox?

The reason I had the center peice in there was due to how far the seats where spread apart. So it covered that up. Before I had those seats in I had these seats in it.
  I can't seem to find the pictures with the other seat in. But those seats came out of a 2nd gen turbo eclipse and they are leather.

What where trying to say is if we can put CRX seats into a Civic, then you can put other seats into your CRX. The only way to find out is to try it. ANY seat will fit into another car. You would have to make custom seat brackets/sliders for them. Thats what we are trying to get at.

easiest thing to do, is unbolt the rails from the seats, make some tabs, mount the tabs to the seat, mount the rails to the car, mark, drill, bolt together.... end of thread
