Re: Have anyone Insulted Car Modeling?

I've stayed away because quite simply, I don't give a shit what people think.
Just because they think it, doesn't mean they're right.
Just because you don't agree, doesn't mean you are right.

No one is right.
There re better things to do with your time and money and they are worse things to do. What constitutes good for me isn't going to be the same as what good is for you.

In my spare time, I also like to teach/train in various martial arts disciplines. You should hear some of the trash that goes on between guys who practice different styles/methods.

Re: Have anyone Insulted Car Modeling?

This whole thing reminds me of some other discussions where I've seen some bloviating hauteur on the part of builders who stare down their high and mighty noses at collectors, as if plastic kits gain you admission into some Superior Aryan Breed. And based on those diatribes, I'd have long suspected the plastic faction of having sand in their vaginas before any of the diecast guys.

That said, if anybody's proselytizing diecast with the arguments we saw in the opening post, without tongue planted firmly in cheek, I got two words:

PENIS ENVY.

Jealous and no talent pricks! I collect diecasts and build plastic ones as well. I love to create and build but on the other hand I can appreciate a nice diecast. I love the hobby and I am on both sides!

"Bloviating hauteur"? Hey. We ain't got no stinking bloviating hauteur in these parts.

And don't you mean high and mighty penises, since you brought up the subject?

Sand? No way. Cyanoacryalte, maybe, but not sand.

Hmm... well considering where the brains of some of these rocket surgeons are, I suppose that makes a certain anatomical sense...
