Very nice! Your paint looks clean, smooth and even. Do you airbrush everything?

Re: WIP: Peugeot 206 WRC

thanks guys i will post the update very soon, the body is on progress.

Guys i have a little question here about the decal, the decal from tamiya is not a cartograph and it's to fragile. If any of you have a suggestion or anything about this fragile decal, it would be help me a lot.
Thanks before and sorry for my bad english.

Re: WIP: Peugeot 206 WRC

Nice start on the Peugeot. I made this kit when it was first released and the decals went on quite well - and those were the days before I used decal solvents. Lots of complex curves and shapes but with patience you should be fine.

i use mr.marksofter and mr marksetter to solvent the decal, but the decals comes to wrinkles and that make me stress. So you right patience is our best tool.

My friend told me to clear coat first the decal with tamiya acrylic clearcoat, do you guys agree with that?? i'm not try yet, but it's sound possible to do cause it's like when we make decal with decal paper (after you printed the decal you have to clear coat the decal)

Re: WIP: Peugeot 206 WRC

Clearcoating the decals might be an option.

However, Microscale does make a special liquid for aplying over old/fragile decals. It's called "Micro Liquid Decal Film".
More info here : http://www.microscale.com/Merchant2/...roduct_Count=6
It can be bought from several on-line merchants, so you're not restricted to microscale itself.

It is normal that decals wrinkle when you apply decal softeners like Micro Sol or Mr. Mark Softer. After some time the wrinkles will disappear (usually).
For persistant wrinkles, several additional applications of decal softener should do the trick.

Re: WIP: Peugeot 206 WRC

Great start! I have made 3 of this kit (different versions) and they all fit together so well! Always enjoyable to build. Good luck with your one although such a clean start you don't need luck I am sure
