if you have 12volts to fuel pump and you have no fuel pump turning on , you must check the ground connections for fuel pump/frame ground point....it is possible when replacing pump that they fell off/broke off...

if you can get engine to start with dumping gas into the intake manifold it has to be fuel problem...


if the starter continues to run without key in crank position , the starter appears to be damaged. the starter solenoid contacts must be welded together,,,don't crank for more than 10 sec. then wait 3 minutes to crank again...

No relay.
Solenoid is on starter.
Purple wire is start wire.
You might be able to jump starter at start fuse.

got the truck running it was the ground wire on top of the tank my friend never told me it came off when installing new fuel pump THANKS for everything I follow everything you said and we got it going. truck runs great with all the new parts I put in.It needed it anyway THANKS again I hope I can help someone like you help me.

your not the first guy to miss the ground wire thats why i mentioned it....usually when checking for power few check ground/return for proper bond...to frame...
