Re: Fuel problem

Have you got good hot blue spark to all plugs?
Does it do the 2 second prime up when key is turned on?
On no power to injectors do you mean no 12 volts to them or they do justnot squirt fuel.
Have you checked all fuses?
What engine and engine code?

Does the fuel pump 2 second prime up key on ?
Does the fuel pump run on engine crank?
Got fuel pressure?
The fuel pump is inline with fuel pump.
Only has voltage whe the pump is running.

Re: Fuel problem

First thing do you have good spark to all spark plugs with engine cranking?

What size engine and what engine code ?

Check at fuel pump relay.
Do you have 12 volts to the orange wire to relay with key on?

Does the gray wire to fuel pump from relay have 12 volts on it with engine cranking or for 2 seconds after key is turned on?

If not take a fused jumper wire and hook it up to battery positive/hot side and to the gray wire to fuel pump.
Does the fuel pump run when jumped?

The fuel pump inline fuse will only have 12 volts going threw it when the fuel pump gray wire has 12 volts from relay.
It is not a key on powered fuse only a inline with voltage to run threw it to feed fuel pump.

Re: Fuel problem

Do not forget to check for spark toall plugs and let us know about spark.
No spark will give you a no fuel pump run.

The gray wire will only have 12 volts on it with key on 2 second prime or engine cranking.

If you jumpered the gray fuel pump wire and fuel pump does not run.
Make sure pump is getting a good ground and fuel pump plugin wire is good.
With 12 volts on gray fuel pump wire and good ground and fuel pump wire plugin is good and no pump running or fuel pressure.
Time for a new fuel pump.
Always go with a AC-delco/Delphi fuel pump.
Good luck
MT
And let us know how it goes.
