American Satco: What's the deal?

I recently "bought" 6 wheel sets from Americansatco.com: Three sets of BBS LM(s) and three sets of Koenig Imp(s). I made my "purchase" on the 19th, but my stuff hasn't arrived yet. I checked the website, under the "You and your order" section, but it lists only the date and quantities of my order.

I left phone messages on two consecutive days, and sent them a very polite email inquiring about my order on Monday, but I've received no reply.

At least my bank account hasn't been billed yet.

I figure that my stuff is on backorder and they're just too lazy to communicate with me. I'm dissatisfied because $60 of my money seems to be in limbo.

When I searched for them on this site, I found that several of you had decent experiences with them back in '02 or '03.

Perhaps they simply take a long time to process their orders. Maybe I've been spoiled by HLJ and Hiroboy.

Nick

I've dealt with them before but that was about 5 years ago at least; they sell on ebay (or at least used to) but that was a couple of yeas ago as well.

I have bought several items from their web site, never been dissatisfied, must be the holidays, or something. You may be right about back order as well.

Re: American Satco: What's the deal?

Tonio, thanx for doing my job for me (above). Compared to the Fujimi BBS, these things are almost alarmingly good. Slap some Pegasus 18" tires on there for a lower profile and you have a pretty package!
