I looked in the FAQ and couldn't find it and did a search on how to remove the front bumper. I just need to basicallly know where the scres are and if there are any secrets or anything to getting it off without breaking anything. I know someone had a how to on here but I can't find it. If anyone has a picture guide or could just type it on here that would be cool. I'm trying to change my headlights to Black housing and will need to remove the bumper sometime this week. Also do you have to align the headlights and if so how do you do that? I didn't see an alignment meter on the black housing headlights that I've seen before, do they even need it. Thanks for your help. Peace

Hi there.
I suggest you go to http://www.handa-accessories.com Go to the Civic 99-00 accessories, and look at where they are advertising the Foglight kit. Click where it ways: view installation instructions... You need Adobe Acrobat (just in case you don't have it). The 3rd page shows you how to remove the front bumper, in order to install the foglights. About adjusting the aiming position, I don't know how those aftermarket lights work. I usually check the my car manual for those things. Let me know how it goes... hope I could be of help!!

I've taken my front bumper off many of times!
![]() There are two screws in the wheel well, right above your two front tires Underneath the car toward the front of the bumer there are 4 'screws' in there. 2 10mm screws and 2 'phillips' (or whatever its called screws) Open up your hood. Take the grill out. You have a "type-R" grill so I'm thinking you've taken your OE grill out yourself...if not... -Get a flat head screwdriver, and gently pop the little black plastic 'holders' out -Now there are two more of those black plastic 'holders' on the actual front bumper. Take those two off. From the wheel well gently pull the sides out and back. That should release the sides, and now just pull it off. There is a styrophome piece behind the bumper and in front of the reinforcer bar, hold on to that ![]() I hope that helped...if you have any other questions just PM me...oh and btw...sorry the terms I used werent the most 'technical' I've just taken my bumper off lots of times to change my headlights and do various shit...I just know HOW TO do it...I dont know the name of shit :coolguy: Hope I helped
