I think you did yourself proud. Outfits like the one that you bought the truck from running up and down the interstate are pretty good on their maintenance, so rest easy. As for mpg...not having any is part of the price to pay for a truck like that. I bought a used 02 250 superduty 4x with the 6.8 V10 for all the reasons you'd get a truck like that and mileage is not one of them. On a good day,rolling down hill, in neutral...I might get nine a gallon.
