Now its time for a slightly drunken post... Kinda... Anywho... I forget what I was gonna say in here now... Oh yes... I'm confused by your 2010 thing. Where did you get that release date from again? Or how did you come up with it? with the marketing it wouldn't matter if its 2010 or 2011 cause they never actually release em by the dates they say. For the most part at least with these concept cars. I bet it won't be seen until 2012 in this case... Or, as it stated in the article, it's using the came suspension/frame as the Camaro, so I'm assuming it won't take a whole lot to fit that body on that frame and produce it?... I donno... I lost my train of thought halfway through that... Oh I hope I don't have a hangover for work tomorrow...

I wish I could find some interior designs for it...

Oh I remember what I was gonna say... About the Firebird covering ground to catch up to the Mustang... I don't think that'll be the issue here cause look at the Camaro and Firebird history... They have always shared a very similar body/interior... With the 5th gen here it won't be the case though. This is the split... The 5th gen Camaros are going off of a 1st gen design while it appears the Firebird will be going off of a 2nd gen design to make up for lost years... So do you think that means we could see another Camaro rebody by 2010,11, or 12 even to match the Camaro 2nd gen bodystyle?... Thats just my half drunken theory...

Face it bud, the firebird isn't going to be coming out any time soon. GM doesn't have the resources to afford to take a chance on the new camaro AND firebird. They took one and ran with it.

And it doesn't matter how much or how well they market for the firebird, if there isn't a huge demand for it to make up for their other losses, its not worth it. And that is what GM has studied; demand for what the market has set.
