Re: Head Unit Question

thank you for the info on the seamless mount!!!! how do you mean PAC Box? I dont have a head unit other than a pioneer DEH-p7500mp and an ipod interface cable from my old car. Both of which ar for sale make me an off i cant refuse. (peerfect condition, non smoker) The deck has green buttons and a blue display. I most defenatly need it to have red buttons and a red display.

Re: Head Unit Question

Clarion DXZ775USB, Panasonic CQ-C5305U, CQ-C5405U, and MXE CQ-C3433U. The clarion comes with just the color red display but the panasonic models come with several colors including red. All are Ipod compatible either standard or with an adapter that can be bought for the unit. I'm sure there's other's out there that are red displays just have to go through the pictures and find one that is red. I found these on www.sonicelectonix.com

Re: Head Unit Question

There we go, perfect, you guys are great. I will have a look at all of these, and let you know what i do. May i ask possably a good amp and sub combo. Not knockout bass, just a little thump. Any suggestions?

If you want "just a little thump" then I would just get a Basslink or Basslink II. Great meaningful bass in a small package.

Re: Head Unit Question

It depends on what you listen to but a good all around setup is a pair of 12's with good amp. For a little thump go with a pair of Alpine's, Kicker's, higher end Audiobahn's, or JL's with a good Pioneer, Kicker, Hifonics, or PPI amp would allow you to have some bass and also be able to turn it up sometimes too.

Re: Head Unit Question

OK OK OK they don't have an actual higher end like most other manufacturers but the higher priced ones are decent for a regular system.

Re: Head Unit Question

Eh, I don't think 2 12s will be necessary. Do you need the trunk space? I would consider a single 10" or 12" Alpine Type-R. I wouldn't say its neighborhood disturbing but will be plenty loud in the ride and hits those low lows nice.
