Door axles

Hi
Maybe anyown can tell where can i get or maybe build by myself door axels like, for an example, on this hummer:

I would just get some brass tubing of various sizes. Find the smallest one available and get the next one up that will slide over it. Make the bottom part and the the top would slide onto that. Should be pretty easy.

doll house furniture hardware. they have some VERY tiny piano hinges, and simple hinges such as on the hummer posted above. or you can make them from pins, and pop cans. I think I'll make some for my mustang, hmmm, how could I apply them? well I'm off to do some more random thinking, and parts making for no reason! haha
