Re: Flasher relay
I finally got around to getting to the dealer to get the relay/hazard switch. Part cost $26 and it took me less than 30 minutes to put it in. For others who may need to perform this fix:
1. Remove two screws just above the spedometer display and gently pull off the trim panel all the way across the dash. 2. Remove the wire harness off the hazard switch. 3. The hazard switch pulls out from the front but you have to pinch the clips from the back side. I took off the two screws on the underside of the panel on each side of the vent and removed the entire hazard switch/vent section from the trim panel but I don't think this is necessary. 4. Once the old hazard switch is out, just push the new one in from the front and attach the wire harness. Re attach the trim panel in reverse and your done. Part number was 10359580, BIN 1008. |

Re: Flasher relay
The flasher relay appears to have been the problem. Going on one month now w/o any issues w/ the flashers/blinkers after replacing the hazard switch.
