98 mirage needs new engine need about 300horses
i have a 98 mirage and i need to up grade it. i need to know which engine can i put in it the will give me close to 300horses. at a lower cost 4 da engine n w/ minimum modification to get it put in. i also need to know what tranny i need 2 get 4 it as well i need a 5 speed. the engine also needs to be able to be turbo charged. does anyone hav any infomation that can help me

You know what you have to do? Use a Evo engine and you see how much HP you gonna have... It's my opinion!!! The Lancer Evo have 275HP in that chasis but in your Mirage you have more because the Mirage weight less. Use the physic.

put in a Talon TSI 4g63 in that sucker its already turbod and its only bout 2g for the engine tops but u can find a good one out of a wrecked talon for cheaper im converting mine alos i have a DE coupe and its gonna make my horses go from 160 to 320ish so yea i suggest that....there will be minimal changes that need to be made also...
