Your car shakes at 100mph? You might wanna check the alignment. Mine didnt shake at all when i was goin just over 120 in 3rd. But it might depend on the car.

Re: Sat. Night

If a car has a highspeed wobble, then it's not stable.

Check the alignment, and the lug nuts... and tire pressure... jesus christ if you do anything, check the tire pressure. I drive a ton of miles these days and I see car after car with tires balloning out due to low pressure.

Not only does it affect your handling to a point where under hard cornering the soft side wall could curl under and pull itself away from the bead of the rim causing a catastropic failure... but in this day and age it helps keep your fuel mileage respectible as well.

Word, I read how that apparently tons of gas is wasted and accidents are caused because of low tire pressure, so starting soon cars are going to have a tire monitoring system.

Re: Sat. Night

I know my rx-8 has a tire pressure monitoring system on it and the 350's have one aswell, dont know about any of the other cars out there that are decently priced cause obviously the more you pay the more you get (Or that would be the general idea)

Re: Sat. Night

oh here is to help out with the whole top speed issue, i found this info on the SVX http://www.cars101.com/subaru_svx.html In short, the speedo goes to 160 but top speed is dependant on the year the model was built ealier models had the top speed of around 150 while the later models had the top speed of 130.

SImilar to the rx-8's now, 03-06 manual rx-8 have a top speed of somewhere between 160-170 drag limited while the 07-08 have a top speed electronically limited to 145. (Not that it matters much, like we are ever gonna go that high up in our daily commutes.)
