great kill mush man. i know it feels great to beat a car that costs about 10x more than yours. so do you remember how to launch noice? cuz i hope thats not a 1 time and not happen again kinda deal.

i've never seen a maserati in my life. evar. i guess i need to call you guys up when im in town.

a y pipe is a collector from the header an x pipe has the dual pipes crossing

the article has both in it and nascar has both

My car dossent have Y-pipes. even stock it didnt have em. The headers come down to the pre cats which then go down into the midpipes ( thats where they meet) the mid pipes are two sepperate pipes running side by side. On the outside they look like two sepperate pipes anyway. If you look at it inside they do cross. They then split again and go split all the way back.
the stock and SLP midpipes are describbed as X-pipes.

Yeah I got over my "shity tire syndrome". I can nail a good launch but I dont like rolling on the clutch so i dont do it often. Mostly just roll onto it and short shift to 2nd cause 2nd can get real loose too.

okay so your saying you have 4 into 1 collectors then the x pipe?
i was saying how the article described three y pipes from each side thus having a 4 into 2 into 1 on ech side of the engine hope fully that clears up any confusion as to what i was saying
