@slk320...

i think it would be very,very difficult to turn a touareg into a cayenne...
the platform is exactly the same (and also the V8 petrol engine),same transmission (with 3 torsen C),same automatic gearbox...but exterior and interior are quite different...in a die-cast model i think there is no way to modify...
If you look at the link in my post above yours, Welly has a 1/24 Cayenne Turbo, it probably uses their Toureg chassis. No need for a conversion, they already did it.

They do use almost the same chasis, except the Turbo Cayenne has a different enginge (not the V8 petrol found in VW, but rather the 4.2L V8 in the AUDI A8, it also has different gearbox/transmission on the turbo and different shock/spring/brake layout, but the Cayenne S and the regular Cayenne are identical to the Touareg.

Just a quick bit of auto trivia..

oh yes...the V8 - N/A cayenne has the same engine of the touareg.

in fact is the same car with different body and different equipement.

the touareg is more focused on offroad drive (but is not proper a Bowler Wildcat or a Defender) and the cayenne have different suspension settings to achieve quite good offroad performance and a good tarmac performance.

the touareg is better on offroad and a bit less on tarmac...

i drive the W12 on offroad...delusion...
