Re: Whoops...

Somehow...never gotten a ticket in the bird.
One in the Grand Am...mid 15 second car.
One in the Saturn Julie used to own...17 second car at best.
None in the low 11-upper 10 second car.

I think of grinding, milling, and resurfacing as the same thing. Im sure theres probably some slight differences.

Re: Whoops...

The clutch that was in there is rated to 1200 ft/pounds.

When set-up correctly it holds damn near anything.

Maybe. I've just had better luck with Fords than GM products in the past. When it comes down to it though, I really am a fan of both. However, since my luck has been better with the blue oval instead of the bow tie, you can understand why I prefer Fords. I have always loved the Trans Am, Z28, and Monte Carlo SS's (83-88 on the Monte's). The only thing I don't like about the T/A & Z's are that they are rattle boxes and they sit WAY TOO LOW and they are hard to get in and out of. Guess it would help if I did sit-ups again.

Ummmm, that's why they all handle so much better than mustangs. Their CG is set low, while the stang's is high, making it tend to roll and wallow in a turn. I have owned exactly 1 ford and worked on quite a few and I'll never own another.
