Re: My current projects...

thanks for the comment.. the monte carlo is yet again under construction.. shaving the door handles.. and the side marker lights as well as the front licenes plate... Oh and I almost forgot.. molding the grille to the body of the car for a smooth seamless look..

Also.. I have a Jada toys 06 camaro concept on 24inch DUB Trumps.. Kandy Red with Kandy red to match on the rims. I put the rims on it.. and a nos tank in the trunk.. and a screen on the dash.. planing on doing some sterio setup in the rear seat.. after I finished my other models

Re: My current projects...

Those look so good. I like how you used older cars, the impala is especially nice. Respect.

Re: My current projects...

First off all, NICE WORK!
when i first came to this page, i thought that was a DUB CITY car. But Damn, u made them pimp.

Second Respect for Scarface

RIP
Tony Montana

Also, if i may throw in, what did u use to make the paint seem so nice and shinny (what is a rattle can) . I love the shining orange on the cutlass.

Re: My current projects...

thanks for all the comments.. 'preciate it.. the grit sand paper I use is 1200-2000.. made just for wetsanding.. go to a auto parts store or a hobby shop and ask them for wetsand paper. As for the paint, It is Spray paint, not airbrush, the paint i got from walmart.. it is Shimrins Kandy Tangerine, its a 3 stage paint job, Base coat, which is silver, and the color coat ( transparent tangerine) and then the cleat.. I only wetsand on the cleat coat ( clear, then wetsand, then clear, then wetsand again, and then clear again)
Paint I would really recoment if you do not have a airbrush is Dupli color.. they have a fan spray nozzle which acts like a airbrush..

thanks again for the comments
Oh and a correction for i-is-in-da-house.. the orange car is a 85 Monte Carlo SS.. the Blue one is a 70 Cutlass SX

Re: My current projects...

Oh, my bad. And for the paint job, do you appy when wet or dry to get the shinny colour.
