even the tame racing driver binned it in a closed circuit with out others cars on the track

They will. In sub 10 years they have got:

-worlds fastest car
-records on nurbirgring

LeMans will come. I wonder how old McLaren is

So other cars can crash into yo / affect your laptime

Nordschleife is the ultimate test which Enzo and McLaren F1 never have done

Some people just do not get it?
The McLaren is about much more than figures and lap times, it's about forethought, style, inginuity, the package, the uniqueness of it all. Heres a car designed for the road with no forethought of racing, in fact they deliberatley did not design it for the track. The history that it did go racing and swept the boards at Le-mans on the 1st attempt says it all. Final.
