95 engine swap

ok guys and gals i have a 95 3.8L 5 spd......

i have a friend i can get a 99 4.6L engine from plus all the other parts i need.....

as far as ignition do i have a problem beacuse the newer models required a coded key and stuff or is there a way i can go around that????

Try google. There are several forums out there that deal with mod swaps. I found a site a while back for a guy on here wanting to put a 4.6 into a foxbody mustang. I think that was modularfox.com or something like that but it just took a couple seconds to find. This is a highly detailed swap though. No you want need a coded key but I would highly recomend doing your research and knowing every in and out you can possibly think of before you get started. For most people its over their head. This swap will take alot of time and patience. For instance most guys modify a distributor to run off of a camshaft to distribute their spark. Does that sound like something you could handle? If not then back away now because that is one of the last things you need to be worried about.

yes, you need the whole computer, and this swap is a complete waste as is anyways
