Re: New

F&F ruined the industry. F&F 1 caused a sudden spike in ricers (creating higher demand for ricer parts like neon), F&F 2 made every ricer created from F&F 1 want a GT-R, and Toyko Drift made all of the ricers from the last two think they can drift. And now we got shitty magazines like Import Tuner and Super Street.

To be completely honest though, if it weren't for F&F, I probably wouldn't be quite as interested in cars as I am now. Sad, isn't it?

Re: New

Yeah, like i said. The F&F movies aren't bad movies, but they put a false sense into street racing. Also, this is just my opinion, but i thnk that sleeper cars look 1000X better than a riced car. And what you said about the shitty magz, i deff agree.

Re: New

I think sleepers look better to a certain extent. I mean I definitely don't like any decals but I think it should still look clean. Not like a POS, but go fast.

Re: New

well super street was around waaaay before F&F....alot of the magazines were really. But as far as superstreet goes, they do show the best cars out there compared to other mags. Not all of them, but thats the only mag that i actually care about looking through. The content isn't the best.....but i really dont care lol. I like to see whats going on in the scene and what shops/tuners are building. I could give a less about home built street cars for that matter.....unless there etremely built up in like someones garage or something with time money and effort put into it(which they show too). Not just a car with alot of run of the mill stuff on it.

i just wish we had something similiar to an option mag. There thick, and actually have tuner competitions and test alot of parts and what not.

Re: New

I think Turbo, Project Car, and J Tuner(British tuning mag) are also good. Everything else sucks.

Re: New

I've seen it, but they have too many off-road Xterra/Frontiers and classic Zs for me. If they had more Skylines, S-chassis, late model zs, and maybe some FWD/AWD SR20s, I probably would subscribe.

Re: New

Yeah, they have a 92 s13 240SX project car going on, but there hasn't been a new installment since 04 so i guess the project is over, but for what they did (suspension, brakes, chassi, interior, and engine upgrades) they explained it very well. They didn't do any major remodling but its not too bad. Most of it looks pretty strait forward, and whats not so straitforward, they explain in detail, so im thinking about subscribing. Recently, they had a 94 240SX convertible project, but they have only redone the carpet and put on new brakes, so i don't know if that one is going anywhere.
