|
12volt lighter is out
well i wanted to plug numerous things like a phone charger in my 12volt but it isnt working? ive tried in my parents cars and it works but for some reason it is not in mine.... any help would be great thanks
btw its a 94 lebaron gtc convertible

Just a thought but did you check all the fuses in your car to make sure that it wasn't just a blown fuse?

If it's not the fuses, then you can just remove the whole lighter assembly, and buy a new one. You can find the assembly's at Wal-mart, Auto Zone, Advance Discount and so on. I had the same problem with my cigarette lighter when I first got my car. Fuse was fine, so I decided to just get the new assembly and viola, now it works. Hope this helps.

Yeah, it's probably just the fuse that's not working properly.
