More info about this story came out today. Ten employees from the radio station were fired over the incident. It was also reported that a nurse called the radio station prior to the contest to warn the personnel about the dangers of water intoxication. Their reply was that it didn't matter since the contestants signed a consent form relieving the station of any wrongdoing if something went wrong.
