jcrx...when you get a chance, can you take a pic of the d16z5. i would really like to expand the engine section to EDM and JDM engines and not just swaps. i enjoy promoting EDM info. there isn't much out there...at least in english i found plenty in dutch

ps. yes, bracer...you are still the only who has said to me they could read the 4th gen banner

i'm interested to know whats got to be done to bring a crx back to the states cause i'm in germany to and in the military. I got a 91 ed9 that i want to bring back with me. if anyone knows knows info would be nice.

i forgot about something i found out. you need a letter from honda that says if the car in compliant or not. there's other things to but it's to much to list.

I just got out of the Army, and was in Germany, had a 90 CRX, the one mentioned earlier. The EPA has a list of cars with I believe they call them "VX" or "VR" numbers, or something like that. It is a list of cars that have been tested to meet US compliance, if the car is not on the list, you have to petition the EPA ($800+), than have the EPA and DOT do a conversion ($4000+). After all was said and done, I decided not to bring mine back hahaha, instead I bought a US spec Civic, and dumped the EDM motor in it, still waiting on the boat to get it here, should be middle of this month
