Imho ~ I'd rather go 93, lighter an old one airbag ni the wheel. The 94's had much more stuff that really don't need. If you want features go with the touring 93 like I did.

Re: 15 grand? Whats your whip?

well, i owned a 93 and 94 touring. the 93 i had was base with no moonroof. the 94 touring had the roof, the bose, and i liked the extra black they threw in on the doors. i really gotta stay away from those tho. one i crashed and almost died, and the other my mechanic crashed after 12k worth of goodies
i was devastated, but im learning to deal with my second gen. less money all around and still almost as fun! and ya, the one airbag worked for me, but my friend had a nice time kissing the glass..... not cool at all.......

Damn...

I lost control of mine an it's still being repaired but I gotta say it kept me safe as all hell. The only thing that messed me up was the airbag lol. I hit at about 40 I'd say. I didn't have collision so it's taking it's toll on my wallet but I still think it's worth it imo. No real frame damage because of the way I hit but i still have to weld on a new front clip from past the front wheels foward I got a donor MB Fd thank god real cheap. My FD has about 47K original miles so that's why I'm keepin it plus I have a DD so I'm not in a crunch. Now all aftermarket goodies an a whole custom front end are going in along with some very nice custom titanium structural compenents for the under body as well.

Re: 15 grand? Whats your whip?

Hm. I'd invest it like others said, but if I had to choose... I'd probably put it into my K-5.. 18" of lift, 52" Michelin XZL's(?) ZZ572 crate engine, C6 Transmission, twin stick doubled NP205 t-case, Rockwell axles, 6-something gearing.... yeah. that would be cool. Either that or find a mint 94-95 Thunderbird SC 5-Speed car..

Downpayment toward a house.

JCSaleen, I can't believe you already wrecked your FD. If I owned an FD, it would only come out of the garage when Yin and Yang were spooning and the planets were aligned with plenty of sunshine...

Re: 15 grand? Whats your whip?

I know thats right, my car is like that I think it sucks when it comes to performance, lol.

On another note, I got sworn into the Air Force yesterday, should find out what my signing bonus is sometime soon. An the AF is gonna give me a monthly allowance if I decide to live off-base. So the house situation is set for the next 8 years atleast.

Re: 15 grand? Whats your whip?

GL in the Air Force. Are you going to invest some cash or buy a new ride? I can see how that decision would be difficult... finally having some cash to buy a ride and saving it. You could always put a nice downpayment down on nice ride and make payments and still put some money back...

Re: 15 grand? Whats your whip?

Depends on how much my monthly allowances will be. I'm not gonna buy anything anytime soon, so at the moment I'll just be investing. I also just saw some pics of the Evo X, so that car is definitely in my crosshairs right now.
