1/4 mile Oval 'Moon' drag VW Beetle
Inspired by the greatest and most famous drag Vw's like...
Inch Pincher  The Muppet Racer  Iguana  ... I decided to create my own vision of a 'Moon' drag. The Moon company did several Moonbugs, they did goods times on the drag strips, but I didn't want to copy them but make my own. the paint is fantastic, but you should consider painting the window surrounds black, or a really dark gray. possibly some panel lines? other than that, I'd say you've got a winner.

This turned out excellent. I have always thought the Moon eyes logo was pretty cool so naturally I like this. Very nice work on a good looking model. One of the most original drag racers here in a long time. Great job on this.

Thanks to all of you
 I did a black wash into both doors as the rear grill but it doesn't really show in the pics. For the hood and bonnet, there were no mold lines and as it was also perviously painted it was difficult to realise clean lines. So, instead of messing everything up with this I decided not to do them.

Good to see you'e back in bussiness!
The Drag-bug looks killin'!  (I love the stinger exhaust) It brings back memorys. I've been watching the 1/4 mile sprint of the Muppet racer at Spa this year for 1/2hour. Hope to see your Moonbug at "on the road" in Jabbeke this year?

 So, you came to Spa for the Bugshow. I was there too, only on Sunday and without my beetle. Unfortunately, there is no meeting this year, there are heavy works going on in the paddocks. But, you can come to the european Bug-in in Chimay end of june --> www.europeanbugin.com
