i agree with the GTO comment, not into them at all, the one thing i liked was the interior racing seats, otherwise it looks like just another pontiac.... ill take a porshe gt3, lambo, ferrari as far as exotics... but realistically id probably get a 350z with the greddy turbo kit they offer, i think it makes it like 500 hp.....

i agree. they just need to slim it down.
its kinda like that fat guy at your school. underneath all that mass, he was actually pretty strong. he could bench 250, but it didnt matter when he stook next to a guy who could only bench 200, but was cut... in my mind, the GTO is just too overweight and rounded over.

well im not trying to defend it. im not a fan of its looks either. but its geared like more of a cruiser too. thats why a 05 mustang gt is faster 0-60 than a ls1 gto.

well, let me say that everyone has there own opinion, and none us are right or wrong. im biased toward larger/slower cars cause im a sports car fanatic. i judge on 0-60 and handling, when others could be judging gas mileage comfort and safety. price could also be a factor. so before this turns to war, remember, opinions are like a-holes, everyones got one....

i think the front of the GTO just ruins it. the Vauxhall/Holden Monaros have really good looking front ends. the Ponitac front just looks crap.

the vauxhalls are better than the GTOs, but a better front end cant make up for an ugly car.
its like the mercury marauder. when it first came out, i thought it was so cool and menacing. then i saw a full picture of it. since the ads only showed a lower front 3/4 view, i thought the rest of the car was as cool as the front. the rear was exactly the same as any other merc. PFFFT.

Lincoln LS, V8, 5-speed, I think they had it from 01-03 or so.

is there some inherent flaw in manual transmissions that makes them weaker in a powerful car?
nearly all Mercedes benzs are autos, and i believe that every AMG is an auto.
so many MBs would be nice except for the auto trans... although in a benz, i would deal with an auto just because

If you ask me, I think people are too lazy to shift. just want to put it in drive and slam the gas. really isn't that many people out there that enjoy the thrill of the good ol' stick and clutch nowadays.
