More diesel engines

Hi all you 'diesel heads' check out Jaguar's new XJ Type & the R Type D6. These are diesel powered, perform well and look good.

check them out at www.dieselcar.com
look for 'diesel power landmark' link

Re: More diesel engines

You can throw a car?

Don't shy away from british cars anymore. In this day and age of technology sharing, any shortcomings cars used to have are on their way to being a thing of the past.

Re: More diesel engines

I had a look, but all I could find were the "Diesel Diva's".

Are they using the same Ford/PSA 2.7l V6 diesel as the Peugeot 407 and landrover TDV6?

I'm liking the look of the TDV8 in the new rangerovers. Basically the same engine with another pair of cylinders. I wonder what else ford will shoehorn it into?

Re: More diesel engines

I'm starting to get excited about what Ford might offer in years to come since International acquired MWM Brazil. I can forsee Americans (reluctantly) buying Fords that were assembled in Brazil. That would make me happy. Some good stuff is starting to come from South America.
