no the motor wasn't bored out.
stock pr3 b16 pistons.

it's back to the want to start but doesn't stage.

yeah i guess you could say it stalled, but really just died. didn't want to do anything. there is power. all the electronics work. she just won't turn over.
well, if it's not "turning over" that means it's something in your starter circuit. Does it just "click" when you turn the key to on?

Re: smoke?

no it tries to turn over. ya know. well i can't really make the sound for you but a good example would be like when it's really cold out and it takes a minute to start.

Check your compression. Check your timing. Check your spark.

Re: smoke?

if you are burning white smoke and you are losing coolant you obviously have a blown headgasket and you are burning coolant. If it doesnt start now, that is because your spark plugs are all fucked. check into it. verify with a compression test. oh and good luck

Re: smoke?

ok here's an update. couldn't get a compression test done but i did take the header off and looked into the exhaust ports. all are good except #3. it has sludge in it. like a mixture of antifreeze and the exhaust. since i know the block is good, i want to take it to a shop now. just the head. and get it pressure tested.

so does anyone know a good shop in the san diego area?
