so youve "drifted" huh? meaning you and/or your friends maybe floored the gas around a corner at 15mph or pulled the ebrake in the rain. neither of these, in my opinion, come close to drifting. drifting is all about transitions and control. please dont come in here asking to help you "drift" and find a good car for drifting. learn a little more about drifting as a sport before asking us questions like this. for the sake of our passion of the sport, and for your own dignity, please dont be ignorant.

y do u guys have 2 b such pricks about this stuff, so i want to get into the sport, u faggots were new @ 1 point too. i just came in here asking for an experienced opinion on some stuff from experienced drivers and tuners like yourselves and im sorry if i offended any of u in any kind of way, shape, or form. if u dont want to help me, just say so, dont make fun of me just to make yourselves feel better, im just a guy asking for some experienced help. so am i gonna get it or not? and if ur just lookin in on this, look @ all of my previous posts n help me if u can.

dude, getting it is all up to you, if you think it will give you enough power and is good enough for you, the get it, you can get one for fairly cheap on ebay, some go for under 2k, but if you dont think so, then go for something else, a z31 or 32 would be suitable, a ae86 if you can get one, theres many choices, I know that i will be getting a 240 because i like its style, but do some research and find out what mods are good, power ratings, motors, etc. then you might gain a better knowledge into the 240sx world, its helped me anyway, but its all up to you, i dont really plan on making that choice for you and im sure the others dont either, its just that this question has been asked a lot, i asked it myself (similarily), good luck dude

The difference is, when we were new, we didnt come off as a cocky a*shole who says they have helped build some of the fastest cars in the state.. We simply asked questions and started learning. The search button is your friend, your not the first to ask these questions.

and the main reason im being a dick is that you say you want it for drag/drift. You cant really have both. They are two WAY different sports, you need to find what you really like and what you want to get into. The cars of course can be used for either, but when you mod it will go in two different directions. For choices of cars for what your looking at is--240sx, 300ZX (z31/32), ae86, cressida, mkIII supras, FC3S RX7 (if you can maintain rotary), the miata (not my slice of pie but there are lots of em), starion/conquest (tri-star FTW!), etc.....

If you feel someone new is going about their posting the wrong way, message them or post in their thread with information that you feel will help them benefit most from this forum. Don't trash them.
