Fujimi BMW 535i/M5 and Mercedes 300CE
I built these kits years ago, but also have extra copies of the kits which I recently began building. I just noticed for the first time that Fujimi used the same chassis for both kits. Granted the front and rear sections are slightly different, the middle part of the chassis is the exact same.

Interesting..I've never noticed that... I have the BMW and a couple of the Mercs... I started building one the Mercs as a replica of my sister's 1:1 '91 300CE.

If you start counting Fujimi's (and Aoshima, too) chassis sharing, the list will go on and on, like it'll never stop.

The Audi 80/90 as well...
The sometimes motorized MB 190 and BMW 3 are the same too. '80's Fujimi kits can be a bit silly, though at the time there were much worse on the market.
