I don't find a code 14 or code 23, but I do find code 32 and code 42.

Code 32 is of higher priority and means Driver Air Bag Circuit Resistance High. Code 42 means Driver Side Crash Sensor Mounting Fault.

A code 32 is likely due to a faulty clockspring in the steering column. A code 42 may indicate a problem with the wiring harness under the driver's seat. These are two common causes for SRS issues on the LS. You can search the forum for more details, but I'd suggest you doublecheck the codes again to make sure the codes you posted are accurate.

Re: Airbag light keeps blinking

I have the same problem. I get code 36 once in a while so I disabled the easy entry feature and had'nt had any problems in a while. but yesterday I dynamated the entire rear of the car and to do that I had the seat all the way forward. now the problem is back. I put the seat forward again and checked out the wireing and found one of the wires on the yellow 2 pin was severd off at the plug. now it looks like I have to find a new plug. any idea where I can get one? or tips? thanks in advance dan

Re: Airbag light keeps blinking

You have a few options. You can get a new pigtail connector from the dealer. I don't know what the cost would be.

You can check a salvage yard for one in good shape and splice it in to your wiring.

You can use a pin extraction tool and remove the pin from the connector, splice in a new wire and new terminal, and call it good.

The method you chose will be somewhat dependent upon your comfort level with wiring repairs on a critical system.
