Re: Hasegawa 1970 Nissan Fairlady Z432R

Wow!!! With the right background, that would look like a 1:1!!! The fit of the glass, in particular the rear screen, is especially realistic (set at just the right depth so the shadow isn't too heavy)

Couldn't find anything definitive of the color(s) offered on the Z432R (there's precious little on the 'net as to it's history, and nobody answered my plea for help), so I went with a fantasy team that painted theirs silver before slapping on the numbers and going racing. I just couldn't paint mine orange. Just like I can't paint any Ferrari red
The Z432R did come in black, white, orange not sure about silver. They weren't all orange. 420 of these were produced and were known for being used as police cars. I haven't searched the net for info on these but I do have some books with a little info. Here is a cool site with tons of early Z's http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~arbow/240zg/z1.html click on the #'s to the left

One of the few japanese cars I like, and you pulled it off wonderfully!
I like the flat black hood, looks mean!
