Front Turn Signal Not Working

I have a 1998 Grand Prix, and the front drivers' turn signal doesn't work. The marker light flashes, but no turn signal. The rear signal flashes fast. I'm thinking it's grounding out somewhere. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Front Turn Signal Not Working

Check the lamp socket and the bulb first. One side of the lamp socket will have ground and the other side a fluctuating (flashing) 12 volts. In a worse case scenario you may have a bad contact for the driver's side turn signal at the multifunction switch (stalk). Good luck.
