Obdi? Obdii?
I have a 97 Anniversary Addition GS/GSR Interior. I have only 1 O2 senser on the down pipe, nothing on the CAT. Does this mean the system is OBDI rather that OBDII. I thought that in 96 all cars are equiped with OBDII.

OBD-II was implemented in the 1996 model year...

yea, it's gonna be OBDII. The other sensor is located by the cat...way more down the headers. You can only see the one from the top whether or not its OBDI or OBDII.

hmmm, not sure what to say. I've had in up in the garage and I ran my hand over the cat to find it. Not there. I'm in Canada and there may have been something different going on. Maybe they had a large number of standard Cats to use. Who knows. No big deal just wondering if there was some informatin on it. Thanks for the responces. Custom exhaust in t-minus 2 weeks. Whoooo

its obdII if its 96+. there is a sticker on the steering column saying that its obdII and that there is a plug at the passenger side near the back of the console to hook it up to a computer.
