Re: Parting out Si motor and misc parts

theres about a foot of hose from the pump left on there. it was cut when i got my motor. does 40 sound like a good price? maybe we can do it for 50 shipped or somethin. ill look for the bolts that came with it but for now ill include the pump, bracket, and hose.

when i was at the junkyard today i sawa d16z6 bottom end if anyone needs one i can go get it.

Re: Parting out Si motor and misc parts

how much for the harness & what all is cut? I'm looking for the inejector wires and a sensor wire(s) that is near the injectors (goes to the lower back part of the motor).

Re: Parting out Si motor and misc parts

its a b-series harness (obd1) so the injector plugs and the sensor youre talkin about are fine. its just cut by where the plugs for the battery go. ill take some pictures tomorrow or friday when i go home for you. what kind of car/motor are you using them for?

Its for an 88 crx HF. It has a D series motor but I'm kinda thinking that the wires/plugs are the same. Do you know if this is correct? Also, how much will you sell the harness for?

Re: Parting out Si motor and misc parts

they wont work for yours cuz the plugs from obd-0 which you have are different than the obd-1 plugs. you can probly get them for close to free from a junkyard. im goin to the one near me tomorrow so if i see any ill cut them for you.

I figured the ecu plugs would be different but not the injector plugs. You can't swap d-series injectors into b-series motors (not that u would want to) and visa versa?

If you do find anything at the junkyard, grab em for me. Also, you dont know what the sensor is that goes to the back of the motor do you? My wires are cut where the wires are taped together and then spread out to go to the injectors. So, there was another harness coming outta that spot that was cut and leads to the back of the motor (I can't remember how I know that it goes to the back of the motor if its missing, lol).

If you find anything, please let me know.

David

Re: Parting out Si motor and misc parts

figure out what the names of the plugs and connections you need and ill kno what to get cuz i did my swap myself and can tell on the d-series if you give me their name. im running obd-0 injectors in my b16. are you talking about the fan switch (green and yellow wires i think)

After further review of the play...

I have determined that I just need the injector harness. 4 connectors with 8-12" or wire on the ends would be nice.
